Mayfield Nursery - Earlsfield

Postby JustineLazHow » Sat Aug 17, 2019 2:04 pm

Hello

Has anyone had any experience with Mayfield Nursery? Thinking of sending my son there towards the end of the year and any parent feedback would be very much appreciated!

Many thanks

I sent my two children there and they left a couple of years ago to go on to school. We had experience of all of the rooms within the nursery and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The staff were amazing and my children really thrived there. We sent them there, having looked at other local nurseries in Earlsfield, because they had so much more space inside and outside compared with the other nurseries. It also had much more of a family feel, as it was run by a family. Also pick up and drop off was really easy as there was lots of parking outside which made it much less stressful! Good luck with your decision.

We sent both our children there from 11 months until they left for school. We had a wonderful experience.... the staff are so lovely, and the extra space is wonderful... nothing negative to say, I really think it was the best nursery we could have chosen for our children. They made lasting friendship (as did us parents) and speak fondly of their time there. X

I can’t recommend Mayfield nursery enough. It is not the nearest nursery to us but it has been worth the extra effort to bring our son.

The staff are lovely without exception a great family run business.

The hours are great too. Good luck with your choice.

Hi my daughter is currently there and we love it. It’s family run and the staff turnover is super low which is always a great sign. There have been some issues with the recent Springfield development as the nursery entrances have been moved and parking affected which may put some people off (the area around the nursery is a huge building site) but from our experience the nursery have held their own amongst the big developer to get the best environment for the children within the site and communication with the parents have been constant and two- way. We love this nursery and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Our son is currently in the baby room. He settled in really well and loves going into nursery every morning. The staff have been great with us and him, the handovers are quick and easy as they use an app to keep you updated on progress throughout the day. The only downside is that the building works have meant that the walk from the tube is now significantly longer than it was, however it’s still doable in 15-20mins depending on your walking speed. The family that run the place are all involved and as such it has a lovely family feel whereas other locally can have too much of a school like feel.
