Father Christmas

Postby NikkiB » Mon Oct 07, 2019 9:45 pm

I know summer has only just finished but.....

Can anyone recommend a Father Christmas experience in either London or Surrey where I can take my 3 year old this year as his first visit to see the magical man?

A friend recommended Harrods but on the day of release for booking it was sold out instantly.

Also any other Xmas trips/experience recommendations your young children have found special will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Nikki

Hi Nikki

We took our young daughter to this last year in Dulwich and she loved it!

You go through a few little rooms first doing various activities with the elves and fairies and then it ends with a visit to Santa in his grotto upstairs.

We’ll definitely go again this year!

I like the sound of the activities!

These two are also lovely and don't think booking opens for a few weeks at least:

http://www.crockfordbridgefarm.co.uk/Ev ... ret-forest. - you get taken through the woods on a story adventure acted out by different characters (adding your Christmas wish to a tree) and end up at Santa's grotto

https://www.painshill.co.uk/educational ... adventure/. - a bit of a walk in lovely countryside and then you visit the big man in an amazing (natural) crystal grotto

Have been to both of these in previous years with my young kids and both were magical.

Santa Claus at Bocketts Farm is magical. You get on one of the trucks with the elves and they take you to Lapland ... the Santa is Amazing!

I really enjoyed Chessington at Christmas the last two years, a few of the rides are open, you can see the animals, decorate a cookie, see a Gruffalo singing show and see Santa.....
