In-ground trampoline

Postby supergirl » Sat Oct 19, 2019 12:15 pm

Hi everyone

Looking for advice on the dos and donts please.

As per the subject we are seriously considering a 12ft round or rectangular in-ground trampoline.
I know they are expensive but we are willing to go for it (in spite of the astronomical costs especially rectangular ones) if they stand the test of time (and because they are otherwise an eyesore 😉😂).

So please can you tell me your positive or negative experiences? Also the dos and donta in digging the hole. How did you manage plants growing, rainwater etc. Is it just stones at the bottom? What is the maintenance involved with in ground ones?

Thank you for your advice. Supergirl

I would say don’t! You will still need a net to make it safe so it will be an eyesore anyway and then you’ll have a big hole in the ground for when they stop using it. Kids grow up much faster than you think! Just buy a normal one and then you can sell it on when your kids no longer use it. We used to have an oval one which was a better shape than round.
