Hi! My name is Celine and I live in Clapham South. I used to be a nursery teacher but I am now studying a Masters in Play Therapy at Roehampton University, which will allow me to counsel children through the means of play in order to help them communicate their feelings if they are struggling or have experienced something rather traumatic.
Part of the course is exploring child development and observing infants from as young as a few weeks old for 30 weeks in order to gain a better understanding of a baby’s growth over a prolonged period of time. I would not interact with the child but would just be a mere presence mentally noting the huge and incredible changes a baby goes through within his first months.
Would anyone be willing to have me observe their baby (under 4 months) once a week for a prolonged period of time in order to help me with my studies?
