Educational Consultant

Postby unclesammer » Sun Oct 25, 2020 6:41 pm

Hi,

We are returning to the UK after 6 years in New York with a 5 and 7 year old. We have no idea as to schools and really wanted to get an idea of local schools so would love recommendations of schools and / or a educational consultant to point us in the right direction. We have a house between the commons. Plus just to add a twist our younger child has been diagnosed with sensory processing issues. Any and all help greatly appreciated !

Thanks

Hi,
Good luck with move back from the UK. I highly recommend Maximum Potential in Putney for your youngest child’s SPD therapy and also Mel Ingle could potentially help with the school search. Do have a look at Finton House as they have a good SEN Dept.

I agree with the previous post - Finton House is amazing (my youngest has sensory processing issues too, which they picked up, but it’s been a brilliant school for my older one too).
I also recommend Richard Northey at The Education Consultancy, who is particularly good with families moving from abroad.
Good luck with the move!
