Balham nurseries

Postby AliceMacInnes » Mon May 24, 2021 10:54 am

Hi,

We’re expecting our first child in June and have been told that we should put her name down for nursaries ASAP. Can anyone recommend a good nursery close to SW12?

Thanks.

Woodentops is a great nursery. The staff and management are excellent as are the facilities which have recently been upgraded.
Our children have been very happy there.

Definitely recommend you go and look around Elm Park nursery. We had both our DS & DD there and they loved it. Especially the massive outdoor garden / play area. Lovely staff too.

Have a look at apples and honey Nightingale. A hidden gem on nightingale lane. It’s set in the grounds of the big big nursing home. Massive outdoor space. Daily interaction with older adults for the older children. Animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, birds and bees. Lovely small atmosphere. Great education with Montessori and music trained teachers. Highly qualified and very loving staff. And best bit of news - hopefully opening a baby room later this year!! So will take from 3/6 months. It was taking from 18mths up until now.
