Mobile Phone Coverage Between the Commons

Postby SIN2LHR » Mon Aug 02, 2021 5:32 am

Hi All,

We are moving to Clapham in about 3 weeks from overseas and had a question re mobile phone providers in the area esp between the commons (wandsworth and clapham) as I've heard horror stories of not getting signal in many spots and you're only safe at home with wifi. Can someone enlighten me and let me know what service is good in the area. Thank you so much!

Go to each of the 4 (rest are "piggy backed on services" websites to see map of coverage. EE does not look too good between commons but o2 and vodaphone seem ok. Check for youselves first!

Vodafone is generally the best, although has a few blackspots
EE is hopeless

I’ve had no problems with O2 (and I switched to them from EE because I couldn’t get reception in my house - admittedly a few years ago).

Absolutely no problem with O2 or Vodaphone, we are talking an inner London suburb here so the coverage is usually very good, I'm on the Wandsworth side of the common and have never had issues. Not sure about EE coverage, but as mobile company I'd avoid them, awful customer service and the rudest staff in store. O2 are brilliant imo.
