GPS tracker or child app for secondary school

Postby muddyboots » Sun Sep 05, 2021 10:13 pm

Hi,

could anyone please recommend a good app to use to track journey for first independent travel to secondary school for peace of mind or perhaps a GPS watch?

Any tips would be great!

As said above Apple tags are brilliant and you can personalise them with emojis and stuff. They are really precise - helped me track my keys to a coat pocket a few weeks ago…

Life360 is a good app. You get notifications of when your child has reached certain locations, like school, home etc. You set these locations on the app x

I use Life 360 too. It’s free and excellent for tracking

Another vote for Life360 (which is free though a pro version is also available) and Apple AirTags (£99 for a set of four).

We used a Gator watch while in primary and it was great but it may be a bit "childish" for secondary school kids.

Hope that helps.
