German conversation for our 16 yr old .. any suggestions welcome

Postby Anglo-Deutsch » Mon Nov 29, 2021 7:10 pm

Our polite teenager could really do with 30 minute German conversation practice every weekend (he's 16, taking German 'A' level and could benefit from the focus).

He actually has  relatives in Germany  - but apparently talking to them would be "way too embarrassing"

We are hoping that someone (possibly a native German speaker) would be interested in being paid to speak German with him in a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere once a week

My husband is German. He may be interested in this. If you'd like to discuss, please call me on 07825040850.

Hi

I am sure if you contact Angelika Davey she will be happy to help. She is a native German speaker with 40+ years experience teaching the language.

She also has a mass of free learning resources on her site and Facebook (/angelikaDavey)

Viel Spass

Steve

Hi

My Y10 daughter is interested. She is perfectly bilingual and will sit her German GCSE in May 2022.

Might be less « formal » than a proper tutor?
