Hello all,

My partner and I are very interested in the area, we’re looking at a couple of properties that may require some work done to it. With it being a conservation area, how difficult is it to navigate the planning controls? Such a rear extensions/loft conversion/dropped kerbs/fences etc etc. How strict are the planning officers?

Also, in general, what is the area like? We are a young couple with a view to bring up a young family here.
