Science Sixth Form Colleges Bolingbroke / Harris Westminster

Postby kidzibuzi » Thu Feb 03, 2022 8:32 am

Hello,
I am in the process of looking for a science Sixth Form school for my daughter, aiming at Science topics (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics) with a path to medicine.
Would you have any recommendation and advice? Currently registered for Bolingbroke and Harris Westminster.
Any experience to share about these schools or other South London Harris Academy Sixth Form?

Thank you!

Have you looked at Graveney or Esher College?

Hi

Have you considered King’s Maths School, which is a state sixth form school for 16-18 year olds? It’s for kids who excel in maths. They do maths, computer science, economics and physics.

They don’t do biology or chemistry but thought I’d mention it if your daughter is very good at maths. It’s a brilliant school which gets outstanding results (recently won the Sunday Times state sixth college of the decade award).

They are in Kennington / Lambeth North.

Thank you for your replies Goldhawk and Moonlightdawn.

I will have a look at Graveney's process although it's quite far from us.
King's wouldn't suit her unfortunately as she is really focussed on biology with the hope to go for medicine.

Graveney is one of the best school in the area. Even if its a bit far from you, its still the best option. By the way, how is it going with your homeworks? My child is very stressed because of it sometimes, and I don't know how to react. We are using the essay examples from here https://studyhippo.com/essay-examples/social-issues/ in order to get his homework done. This is the best solution for now. Do you have similar problems?
