Bugaboo or Stokke? Post Reply

Going to need a pram / buggy very soon and wondered if anyone has been super happy or otherwise with their choice. I am leaning towards the Stokke or  Bugaboo but not sure whether to go with 3 or 4 wheels? Would love any feedback if you are using one of these brands? Many thanks.

It depends which Bugaboo and how you're planning on using the pram. We had a Bugaboo Bee and absolutely loved it (great turning radius, can take it on the tube relatively easily, easily adjustable handles for users of different heights, the car seat can be on at the same time as the cocoon) BUT it does have a smaller basket than others and isn't the easiest to fold.

On the Stokke, friends who've had their prams have found them too big and heavy for London. The Uppababy Cruz and Vista are popular if you want something sturdy but not as heavy.

We had Bugaboo Bee as well. Also loved it - very easy to use and slim enough to push straight into hallway / rooms which meant I didn't have to wake son if he fell asleep on a walk. Also light enough to pick up and put in boot or indeed pick up with baby still in it for going down steps. Loved that could change seat direction and tilt and sleeping position flattened out with a cocoon. I'm about to post buggy with cocoon and footmuff for sale if of interest (red hood).

Loved our Bee. Brilliant for public transport, and all the things mentioned above. Would say though that it depends what you want your buggy for. I got a secondhand CityMini when second child was older and loved the easy fold and bigger wheels for off roading! The Bee is a city pram in my view.

I always liked the Bugaboo Fox but DH treated us to a Silver Cross (Rose Gold special edition) when DD arrived and we never looked back! The nanny loves it, says she gets loads of compliments on kings road x
