My daughter has a Y3 place at Streatham & Clapham Prep which we are very pleased with as the school seems absolutely lovely. As I do not know many parents who have sent their child there or go there currently I was hoping for personal feedback. The new head seems absolutely delightful and really engaged in the school. All the children were smiling and very polite the school really beamed a happy to be here and learn feeling. I Would love to hear more about personal experiences both for a child attendees as well as a parents personal experience would be amazing.
The reason we looked at SCP was not just the vast offerings in curriculum (her state school in Balham is amazing ) but the additional co-curriculum. If you have any experiences with the schools clubs, sports clubs, creative arts, technology that would also be fabulous to hear about.
My daughter will take the school transport a few times a week. Any experiences in that? Good / Great / Avoid?
The intention is she follows the school through to sixth form so on that note if you have followed that same path or plan to as well that would also be interesting to hear about.
Are the parents engaged in the school? Strong PTA or is it a drop and run to the office type of school. We have a nanny but I really do like to be involved in the kids education both in their academic journey as well as ours as a parent who want to support the school.
