Reading resources for Skilled Workers’ children. Could you help please?

Postby Bluesky13 » Thu Jun 01, 2023 8:20 am

I am the friend of several Overseas Skilled Healthcare workers who have moved to the UK with their primary school aged children. The children are at the early stage of learning English and have joined the local library and registered for school but I wonder whether anybody has any phonics reading books, cds, flashcards or other resources that they no longer need and would like to go to a new home, please? I’m happy to collect.

Sounds-Write is a superb government-approved phonic scheme for reading and writing. They have resources for parents on their website and a dedicated team of outstanding primary educators for additional support: https://sounds-write.co.uk/support-for-parents-and-carers/
