Cake mould in shape of dinosaur?

Postby freshairmum » Fri Oct 18, 2013 10:54 am

apparently there's somewhere on Northcote Rd that has cake moulds/pans that they rent out - does anyone know where this is or indeed if it really exists?

thanks

I have one you can borrow.. It has made me one dinosaur cake which my son was fairly impressed with (doesn't take much though and I'm a terrible baker!)

Let me know if you want to try it out..

Yes there is, it's La Cuisinere Too Bakewear studio. They rent out all sorts of tins! 91 Northcote Rd.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for both replies -

I'm currently trying a home made dinosaur template but if it doesn't even vaguely resemble one then I'll take you up on your offer Jabba.
Hard to know the exact quantities of the cake itself let alone the actual design, I'm not only a terrible baker but also terrible at 'drawing', still it's the effort that counts!

Just let me know.. Mine has this recipe that goes with it (as was helpfully found by my husband after I'd slaved over a DIY version!)

I will be around the northcote road area this afternoon, if you want me to drop it off it's no problem.. Am away next week, just text your address..
