I'm going through potty training my 2 year old at the moment, and very much in the early days of doing so, she is still very much in nappies but we're just putting her on the potty at regular intervals, first thing in the morning, after meal times and sleeps etc. I have bought washable training Imse Vimse pants as well and am putting her in those too, these won't hold much, but they're slightly more absorbent than ordinary pants and most importantly she knows when she's wet. We have had some successes so far, and she is showing signs she's ready. However, I would agree with Megan in that we've not gone down the reward route with star charts etc, we just give heaps of praise, a clap of hands, big kiss and a cuddle is enough for us to let her know she's done well. But I imagine it will just take time, so hang on in there, and don't go backwards and put her back into nappies now, I'm sure you'll get there eventually and I'm sure she is more than ready. Good luck.
