Dermatologist recommendation

Postby Aprilmama » Wed Jun 08, 2016 10:17 pm

I'm looking to see a dermatologist about removal of a cyst i have on my face and my ongoing extremely dry skin and eczema - does anyone have any recommendations? I'd be really grateful to hear from you!

Don't have any dermatologist recommendations but do have a suggestion re the eczema - Salcura Zeoderm, which you can buy in Boots and Planet Organic. It's not cheap but it's the only product I've ever used that actually works - it cleared up eczema I'd had for years. I'd also recommend a water softener which has definitely improved my skin condition.

Hi Aprilmama.

My daughter had a cyst on her face, and we went to Sk:n - a private clinic who specialise in skin care. They have clinics all over, and we went to the one in Epsom as this is where the paediatric specialist was. They are very professional, and my daughter received excellent care. She now has just the tiniest scar where the cyst was removed.

Good luck!

After months of using increasingly strong eczema creams unsuccessfully, I started showering with Klorane soapless shower cream. It could be a coincidence, but the eczema went away and has not reappeared. It leaves a very light oil on the skin but lathers like a normal shower gel. You may have to buy on line.
