Would you like to make money from your old baby equipment

Postby louise.alsop » Wed Jan 11, 2017 10:48 am

Hello Mums and Dads.

My son is just over 1 years old...and I am struggling to store all the baby "stuff" I've accumulated, but want to keep it for future siblings.

It's made me think about creating an app which enables local parents to connect and rent out their unused (often expensive) items, meanwhile they save space, make money and consume less.

I would be extremely grateful if you could spare three minutes to answer a short survey; helping me make the app useful for parents

Absolutely agree. I think it is better to donate them. At least it will be faster than selling them. I tried to sell some stuff that we barely used and even some brand new unpacked stuff. It took me ages to sell something online on platforms like eBay and some local online stores. I also paid a lot of money for the shipping. As a result, I barely earned £1 on selling those items. I know a lot of apps that pay you to play games, and I make way more money there. I wish I could just donate those clothes and toys for free and make some people even happier, rather than those who purchased something from me and left unpleasant reviews.
