Come join us at Gallery Midnight for a creative Mother’s Day workshop!
Book this as a lovely class to do with your Mum on Mother's Day, Or, if you are Mum - bring along your kids for a fun crafting session - all ages are welcome although we would suggest any young crafters be 8 yrs+.
You will be decorating natural seagrass belly baskets with handmade pom-poms and embroidery. The baskets are a lovely keepsake to take home and can be used for storage (toys, socks, blankets) or plant holders!
A wide range of coloured yarns are provided so you can create your own pom-pom colour palette! You can make up to 6 pom-poms to decorate your basket with. You will also learn how to embroider a letter, initials, short word or shape on to your basket to make it truly unique.
The baskets are made from natural sea grass and measure approx H 28cm x W 31cm (not inc handles). They are handmade so measurements may vary ever so slightly.
There will be a selection of teas, coffee and freshly baked cakes to help boost the creativity process!
