I run The Sunflower Network and we have a week of summer workshops coming up in August (12th - 15th) to help children build confidence and unlock their creative and expressive potential.
The workshops each have a different theme and have been specially designed to improve well-being, social skills, and self-esteem as well as be loads and loads of fun. They are being facilitated by a highly experienced play therapist & well-being practitioner and are being kept small - only 12 places per workshop - to ensure each child has fully immersive and enriching experience.
We work using the creative arts so expect lots of drama, art, storytelling, den building, spaceship designing, crazy puppetry and creature invention - with some messy play thrown in on the Thursday workshop too.
It's £20 per child or £35 for two. The mornings are 0930 -1130 and are for 5 -10 year olds, and then we have one afternoon workshop 1300-1500 on Tuesday 13th August for 10 -13 year olds (Creativity & Design using Arts & Textiles). The venue is the Parish Hall at St Mary Magdalene on Trinity Road SW17 7HP.
For more information and to book please visit the Parents & Families page on our website and scroll down to the Upcoming Events section. We're also here to help support and promote positive child mental health & emotional well-being so if there's anything else we might be able to help you with, then please feel free to get in touch.
Wishing you a lovely lovely summer,
