Hi All,
I thought I'd post this to inform everyone of the new changes to the ballot for Wimbledon tickets, and to stop my inbox being clogged up from April onwards for 'polite requests for ticket'(!) Seriously there is a new system being introduced and you must register before the 21st October. The system is easy and free and the link is here:- https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/tickets ... allot.html
The above is for the public ballot which is a worldwide ballot. To increase your chances further, assuming you're not already a member of a tennis club, you can register as a member of a 'Registered place to play', Clapham Common is one such venue and you can sign up here:- https://www.lta.org.uk/member/signup/?p ... -affiliate
Both ballots are free but you must opt in on both to accept the emails and updates, which is the trade off. The advantage with the Clapham ballot is that it is smaller and so a greater change of getting tickets and the more who register, the more tickets are allocated to the ballot.
Don't forget, it's a ballot to buy the tickets, they're not free unfortunately. Lastly, my little sales pitch, I'll be running a trip to Madrid Masters Tennis Finals in May, which is a great opportunity to see the best players and have a great weekend of playing. You can see all the details here:- https://www.juliancousinssports.com/tennis-holidays
I hope this is of interest and good luck with the ballots.
Best wishes,
Julian
