Free activities to do during lockdown with your 2-8 year olds.

Postby Gav888 » Tue Jan 19, 2021 7:52 am

 Dear Parents

We know over this lockdown period there are going to be some parents that are really battling for things to do with their children to keep them active. So we have decided to make our Playball@Home program free for everyone!

Let your friends know , forward this post on to them and especially anyone you know who might be battling with the kids at this time. The only thing they will need to do to receive the sessions each week via email is create an account on our website. www.playballlondon.com

The first weeks sessions are at the end of this email!!

What is the Playball@Home program?

It is a series of Playball age specific Videos, skills and games that the children can Watch and Play in their own time. So even while they are at home they can be active physically and mentally.

These lessons will be super fun and super active for the children to follow and play using house hold items.

 Playball@Home involves

1: Videos from the Playball coaches teaching the skills, just like we do at Playball lessons (using house hold items)

2: Lessons plans , with the age specific skills and games

3: Weekly lessons for each week that the children are in lock down.

As always Playball are dedicated to the children being as active as possible and developing new skills through movement and sport. Why should having to be at home change that?

With Playball@Home our children will be as active as ever!

Please see the links below of some short videos to give you all some further insight into how the sessions will run!

At the start of the session and each skill, you will watch the video instructions from the coach- ensure that your child understands and off they go!

Here’s an example of a 2’s locomotion skill being done at home

Here we are finishing off with a game - most importantly we want the kids to continue having fun and being physically active! The life skill of learning to share, is also crucial🤣

I hope everyone who has subscribed already has been enjoying the Playball@Home program so far.
We will be sending out another week of activities later today.

Just a reminder there will be no Playball@Home programs sent out during next weeks half term as we look to give the children a break from all the screens and online learning.

We do have some really exciting things planned over half term though, so lookout for all of that in our next couple emails. Did someone say treasure hunt ????

Dont forget the only thing you need to do to receive the sessions and activities each week via email is create an account on our website. www.playballlondon.com
