Sutton African & Caribbean Cultural Organisation (SACCO) are British Science Association, Community Leaders and for British Science Week we are celebrating gravity and weightlessness.,
British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) that runs from the 5th - 14th March 2021. This year's theme is Innovate for the Future.

We are delighted to announce and invite your child to attend Coding Project Gravity & Weightlessness! - Which is a combination of all 3 elements that SACCO is keen to include in our projects for children and young people; science, technology and creativity. 
Project Gravity & Weightlessness - is a series of STEAM sessions where participants ages 5 - 10yrs learn about the concept of gravity and how it differs in different environments.
We then consolidate their understanding and Marsha from First Class Coders, will help your teeny techies design, create and write a computer program which sees your child applying their knowledge of gravity in different environments, experiencing the effects of gravity: underwater, on Earth and then we prepare for Space travel to the moon.
In the process, they learn to solve problems, understand complex science theory and express themselves creatively on the computer.
There are 3 sessions for this:
Wednesday 3th March 2021 - 17.00 - 18.00
Thursday 4th March 2021 - 17.00 - 18.00
Friday 5th March 2021 - 17.00 - 18.00
