Christmas Holiday Creative Camps

Postby _Wurkshop » Thu Nov 18, 2021 11:39 am

We have a mega line up for kids to get creative at Wurkshop these Christmas holidays.

Stitch, whittle, build, paint, explode, weave and much, much more... check out the full line up: www.wurkshop.co.uk/kids

SEWING

Are you going to dress your pets up this Christmas? Of course you are! And Wurkshop is here to make sure they are the best-dressed in show. In this full day’s course you will create a Christmas costume for your furry friend. Your dog, cat or rabbit can be whatever you want this year. Will they be Father Christmas, a helpful elf or maybe even a candy cane?

Or is it your own costume you're looking for?  Some say a lightening bolt on your cape means you have super-speedy powers. Others say it means you’re a genius. Whatever you may be, come and learn how to sew your own cape and mask on this exciting new course with milliner for the stars, Bee Smith.

CRAFTING

Build your own Skateboard: You will learn how to shape, sand and construct your own board – with the trucks, wheels and bearings all included in the price (skateboards of this build quality typically retail at more than £100).

Whittle an Elf: Coppicer Suzy Williams looks after woodland in Berkshire and will teach you about different types of wood and how to carve it. You will learn how to handle sharp knifes and what type to use for each section of whittling. You will also learn axe skills in this exciting, practical, tactile course.

MYSTERY

Join us at Santa's Wurkshop Grotto for two magical days of making with elves. This is your chance to make presents of the highest quality for your family and friends. You will make at least four separate presents and will even hand print your own wrapping paper to wrap them in. We are going to remain mysterious about the actual presents the Wurkshop elves will make so that they are a surprise for the adults they’re going to give them to.

We have lots more courses too - a day's Manga course, Christmas tree decorations galore, potion making with wild ingredients and ceramic clock making...
