Action!Half Term Filmmaking Camp!
This Half term our 7-9yrs and 9-11yrs age groups will be making a Comedy Movie! Young filmmakers at Sparks Balham are set to make a side-splitting comedy movie! Taking part in our action-packed half term camp, young filmmakers will explore different styles of comedy. They’ll devise their own comedy stories and produce a unique movie masterpiece. The filmmakers will step into all the crew roles you find on a real film set. They’ll develop new skills in filmmaking, from directing, camera, acting, crewing and even more, as they make their own production ready to share with you after the course. Taking part is ideal for learning new skills, expressing creativity and making new friends too.

In this action-packed February half term filmmaking course, young filmmakers are set to boost their technical filmmaking skills. A series of skillset masterclasses, including screenwriting, directing, camera and producing, will see filmmakers emerging from this crash course with a host of valuable new filmmaking skills ready to take their work to the next level. Alongside boosting their technical filmmaking skills, the young filmmakers taking part can also explore some of the different career pathways into film production.
They’ll spend time exploring the professional functions of different departments and the skills needed within each role. They’ll gain vital insights into how the film industry operates and take confident steps towards their own development within their preferred roles.
