A 23-year-old man was gunned down by officers from the Met's Flying Squad who swooped outside a Sainsbury's Local in Wimbledon at 8.10am on Monday (3 December) to foil the robbery of a cash van.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Flying Squad along with marksmen were lying in wait to stop the cash-in-transit raid outside a supermarket.
Abdirahman Mohomad Omar of St John's Drive in Wandsworth appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he was remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, December 21.
Now police have revealed the name of a second man charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Brooklyn McFarlane, 23, also of St John’s Drive, was injured in the shooting and was also charged.
