C-section birth and scar? Please read this...

Postby Battersea Massage » Wed Aug 10, 2022 5:04 pm

Hello,

My name is Violet and I'm local Chronic Pain Specialist located at Battersea Park Clinic.

Few months ago I've qualified in Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork therapy and had great results helping people with scars.

I thought I'd share this wonderful treatment on this platform.

After caesarean delivery mother's are left with a scar across lower abdomen. During the first 6-8 weeks scar will undergo important healing process to recover.

Often C-section scar appears "healed" after that process, however if left untreated can contribute to discomfort, pulling sensations, numbness, discomfort or/and pain in different parts of the body.

Women are not told by doctors about C-section scar massage, which may leave you with many painful problems.

WHAT IS THE SCARWORK?

ScarWork is a specialised gentle and effective technique that promotes healing process and reduce dense and fibrosis scar tissue, prevent adhesions that may result in pulling sensation, ease any discomfort, pulling and sensitivity sensation tenderness, itching and numbness or changes after surgery.

WHY DO YOU NEED C-SECTION SCAR MASSAGE?

Scar in abdomen can cause adhesions, postnatal pain and tightness. Adhesions can bind the scar tissue to hip bone or one organ to another. It's very common to develop adhesions to your colon, ovaries, between bladder and uterus after having caesarean birth.

WHAT MAY HAPPEN IF YOU DON'T MASSAGE C-SECTION SCAR?

》Lower back pain
》Pelvic pain
》Frequent urination
》Digestive issues
》Hip pain

WHY C-SECTION SCAR WITH ME?
I understand that touching your C-section scar can be nervous as the area often doesn't feel like part of your body, therefore I will help you and guide you to reconnect your scar with your body.

The C-section scar massage can help you enjoy your life and body again. The C-section scar must be healed and 6 weeks old to be worked on.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me best via email.
