Private maternity recommendations Post Reply

Hi! I’ve just found out I’m pregnant a third time but this time I’m armed with private health insurance for maternity. Can anyone recommend hospitals in the area or nearby (I am in Wimbledon)? Any opinions on obstricians vs midwife led care? If you have any tips from previous experiences that would also be appreciated.

We’ve gone with the Kensington wing at Chelsea and Westminster in the past and have been happy with it. Not as fancy as the Portland (think cups of tea and biscuits rather than champagne) but I found it reassuring to be in a large well equipped hospital just in case!
