I found the ones with elasticated pockets rather than the big elasticated band looked less like maternity jeans, less hot in summer and don't slip down as much. I had really great ones from topshop & Gap (Kings Rd) but also 7 for all mankind, True Religion and Rock and Republic do great ones. Look in Pretty Pregnant on Northcote Rd. Haven't been in there for a while now but they did have a fab selection. Also Harrods or Blossom Mother and Child on Walton Street have lots of lovely things. Also worth a look for good maternity clothes is Seraphine on Old Church Street, W8- Similar to Gap prices but more unusual and really nice style maternity clothes. Isabella Oliver do nice Maternity underwear, nighties and t shirts that don't bobble even with all the stretching that goes on. (That might have just been me as I did put on 4 stone......!!!)

I found Gap best for maternity jeans as they have loads of styles. I found that the Gap at the Bond St end of Oxford Street had the best selection of maternity wear.

Happy Shopping and congrats on the pregnancy!

Seraphine is on Church Street, not Old Church Street - sorry. The whole collection is online though.

Asos do lovely maternity jeans and jeggings. I got an indigo pair and a white pair and they were gorgeous, really nice and skinny on the legs whilst roomy on waist !x

I bought one pair from 7 for all mankind (in Pretty Pregnant on Northcote Road) and lived in them for the whole of my pregnancy (and a few months afterwards :) ).

Lots of people asked me how I managed to stay in my pre-pregnancy jeans as they don't look very maternity-like apparently!

Happy shopping and huge congratulations!
