Are you a breastfeeding mother? If so, your breast milk is thriving with 'good bacteria' that protect your baby's health! But did you know that breastfeeding is not an option for many mothers and these babies are at risk of developing chronic diseases?
BoobyBiome is calling for breast milk donations to identify and understand the ‘good bacteria’ living in breast milk. We are a biotechnology start-up founded by an all female team of scientists, working at the Insitute of Child Health, UCL. Your donation will help us develop a clinically relevant alternative for infants without access to breast milk. We are particularly recruiting mothers from black, Asian, and minority ethnic backgrounds to ensure our product represents the breastmilk microbiome of all women.

Eligibility criteria for donating:
1. We need donors who have been breastfeeding for under six months.
2. We can't accept milk from donors who have taken antibiotics in the last six weeks (but can do once this period has passed!).
3. Donors need to be London based or less than 1 hour outside the city (our lab is in London and so we are restricted to travelling further afield as samples need to be processed within the same day).
