First time mum question! Does a pram need bedding?

Postby fatankles » Tue Aug 01, 2017 4:38 pm

Hello,

Apologies for the basic question, but what does a newborn need in a pram? :?

I've just ordered a Bugaboo Bee, with carrycot and I wondered what else a baby will need? Blankets? Or some kind of sleeping bag cover like this - https://www.johnlewis.com/joolz-day-ear ... y/p3164261
Snow suits look so fiddly to put their arms and legs in.

I'm due in October, so going into the winter will get cold outside.

Thanks

That footmuff looks like it is meant for a buggy (for 6 months plus) rather than a pram. I suggest layering with blankets and a padded top cover/quilt plus a waterproof cover to protect from the rain. Layers will allow you to make adjustments without having to wake your baby up when it's sleeping (if you go into shops or cafes during cold weather, for example).
