We are a friendly professional couple in Balham seeking a live out nanny to look after our 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter, starting at the end of September. We live 5 minutes from Balham station and a short walk from Wandsworth Common. We are looking for someone able to work 40 hours per week split over 4 days, ideally 3 long days and one half day.
Our son is starting reception in a local school and our daughter attends preschool in the morning during term time. Both school and nursery are only a 5 minute walk from our house. Nanny duties include preparing healthy meals and snacks, doing the children’s laundry, making sure everything is ready for school and preschool and keeping the areas used by the children clean and tidy.
We are looking for a reliable, kind, energetic person who likes being outdoors in all weathers and is not only happy to take our children to nearby parks and activities but is also comfortable taking them further afield on public transport. An interest in education, curiosity and the ability to follow and encourage our children’s interests is key.
Non-smoker; up to date DBS check and first aid certificate essential, childcare qualifications and teaching experience desirable. Our ideal candidate would have at least 5 years childcare experience with references.
