This Paediatric First Aid course is an extremely comprehensive course and includes adult CPR as well as CPR in babies and children. The course covers all elements of the Ofsted syllabus, incorporating all commonly occurring injuries and illnesses and is the one needed for Ofsted as a Nanny.
If you need the Full 12 hour Paediatric First Aid qualification to register on the compulsory Ofsted register or to comply with the Early Years Foundation Scheme, we can offer a convenient blended learning option. With the blended learning, you undertake 6 hours pre-learning as e-learning through our online courses, at a time and place that suits you and follow this with the 6 hours practical course. You will be awarded a 12 hour Full Paediatric First Aid certificate fulfilling Ofsted criteria for the compulsory register. Onlinefirstaid.com award winning, interactive courses have had wonderful feedback. They comply with all the very latest resuscitation council guidelines and have been written by first aid experts. The online courses are fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices and you can stop and start as often as you like. They consist of videos, step by step directions, info-graphics and diagrams with test yourself sections as you go. There is a multiple-choice test at the end and on successful completion, they can print their certificates themselves. There is continuous access for a full year and it can work as a refresher for practical courses too.
On the practical course, you will receive a full course manual and a Paediatric First Aid certificate valid for 3 years. All our courses are held in Balham in our purpose-built training room which is 5 minutes from the mainline and Northern line tube and easily accessible (10 minutes by train) from Clapham Junction, London Victoria and Waterloo. The cost is £125 (£135pp for the 12 hour blended).
Courses are arranged for a small group of individuals and run from 9.30-4.30.
