On Saturday 3rd November I will be presenting a Newborn Workshop in Wimbledon. This will introduce you to the world of Maternity Nannying but may be of interest to grandmothers to be, mothers to be or nannies/au pairs considering this as a career change. We will cover all aspect of the maternity nurse's role including emotional and practical support needed by the parents, needs of a newborn, how to be a good maternity nurse, hygiene and safe handling of a baby. We will do some practical work using some baby doll dummies including bathing techniques, swaddling, dressing new babies and winding positions.

This is a fun and relaxed class. It will be a full day and hot/cold drinks and biscuits/cake will be provided. We will have a lunchbreak - so please bring along some sandwiches or snacks for yourselves too.
