I am in need of a caring, patient, experienced and nurturing childminder on Fridays and possibly Mondays in Strawberry Hill/Twickenham/Teddington area. My son is 3 in November and NOT enjoying/settling into a large nursery he has begun for these two days a week while I am at work. He has previously been at home with me or with his dad, although he is outgoing, sociable and friendly. I am surprised by his not settling as it is very unlike him, but think I need to follow my gut instinct in that this is not right for him and is stressful and rather negative for us both. Hence we need someone kind and competent.
Another alternative is a childminder in Balham area on Fridays and possibly Mondays, but I would need to drop him off to you before 7am (pick up at 5.30pm).
This is only until Christmas initially, as he may start in school nursery from January.
