Looking for Part-time nanny work!

Postby gj93 » Sun Dec 27, 2015 3:41 pm

Hello Mums and Dads!
I am currently working 2 days a week as a nanny for a 10 month old boy. I absolutely love my job but am looking to fill a few more days of my working week! So I am on the hunt for a family that need a part-time nanny/mother's help for 2-3 days per week. The days can be flexible, all my boss asks is that she gets Thursdays. Here is a little something I wrote so you can get to know me a little bit better...hope to hear from you soon!

My name is Georgia, allow me to tell you a little about me,
Then you can see if you want me as a Nanny for your family,
I am the oldest of three, born in NZ,
Wanted to travel so I moved here instead.
My visa allows me to stay and work for a while,
So I am hoping to obtain my dream lifestyle,
I have years of experience with toddlers and teens,
Babysitter, live-in nanny and all in between!
I have driven children to kindy and school,
Changed dirty nappies and wiped away drool,
Helped with homework and riding a bike,
Organised birthdays and all playdates alike,
Attended ballet class and games of football,
Gymnastics, volleyball, I’ve watched them all,
I’ve been for runs with the kids to help them train,
And played games with them in sunshine and rain.
I’ve been on family vacations to snow and to sun,
Driven long distance and flown a tonne,
Some trips were near and some were quite far,
I learnt to entertain babies, in a plane and a car.
I’ve also cleaned a lot, we know kids can cause mess,
So I have learnt to tidy and scrub to perfection, no less,
Changing sheets and making beds, little cots too,
Picking up toys and discarded clothes, always so much to do,
Washing clothes and dishes while cooking dinner,
Luckily for us I am not a Nannying beginner.
As mentioned earlier, I’ve looked after kids of all ages,
And helped them in life through all different stages,
From the little wee babies still learning to walk,
To cheeky toddlers running and starting to talk,
School age kids beginning to read and write,
Pre-teens asking questions from morning to night,
Young teenage girls wanting to go on a date,
And rebellious teenage boys staying out late.
The experience has been educating, I want to learn more,
I am hoping I might be the nanny you’ve been looking for!

Thank you,
Georgia

Dear Georgia, I love your poem! I could offer you two or three days with 4-6 hours per day term time and full days during school holidays (about twelve weeks a year). I would offer a higher hourly rate for term time if that helps. We live in West Wimbledon and have three lovely girls - one 12 year old and twins who are nearly 5 years. There is are excellent transport links to Clapham/London close to our house and nice shops, cafes and parks nearby. January start. Please do message me if you might be interested? Thanks very much! Victoria (mum)

Hi Georgia

Would you be willing to do a few hours a day nannying at a weekend?
