Bright Horizons are dedicated to Keeping Everyone Safe. During the open week you will experience first-hand the exceptional level of care, safety and security that we provide within our nurseries. Visiting and meeting the team will offer a great opportunity to find out why we are the only childcare provider to have been awarded the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Gold Award year on year since 2012, and to meet our Safety Superhero mascot, Candy Floss.
Candy Floss is a blue and green striped zebra who helps our children recognise and manage risk and embeds essential safety messages. Keeping areas tidy, reminding children to wash hands, crossing the road and fire drills – Candy Floss is present throughout the nursery day and helps children understand how they can ‘Stay Safe’ and help others’ to ‘Stay Safe’ too. Candy Floss has featured in a number of regulatory body inspection reports as a positive influence for the children and a reminder of important safety issues.
