Our fantastic nanny is sadly repatriating back to her home country. We are a professional couple based in Notting Hill looking for an exceptional, kind, native English speaker to replace her. Our daughter is will be 2 years old when employment commences.
The role is permanent, full time and sole charge. Hours are 6:50am-6:50pm 5 days a week - with one night regular paid babysitting.
Owing to the early start we require someone who lives locally in West London. There is some possibility for the role to be live in and someone interested in living in Monday to Friday only would be of particular interest.
Given our working hours we require someone who has a perfect time-keeping and attendance record with previous employers and are of utmost reliability.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have 8+ years experience (4+ of which will be in a nanny setting) - including babies and toddlers (weaning/potty training) and willing to make a long term commitment to a family.
- Be energetic and have a sense of fun and imagination, with a willingness to instigate activities such as art and cooking while at home.
- Education qualification and awareness of key stages a bonus.
- A firm but fair attitude to discipline and a focus on good manners.
- Organise food delivery, cook daily and be aware of the importance of good nutrition.
- Have exceptional attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and be willing to help with light housework/washing (especially when our daughter starts to attend nursery in September for half days) though we also have a cleaner.
- Be willing to travel with us for one week a year (this is not a necessity)
- Have a clean, full UK Driving licence.
- Be DBS checked with immaculate personal references.
