Live-in nanny required - SW11

Postby Bambino » Thu Mar 15, 2018 8:47 pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic live-in nanny who will have sole charge of our two sons when they are not at school.

Our older son is 4 and starts reception in September and will be at school between 8.30am- 3.30pm. Our younger one is 2 and will be at nursery school from 8.45am-12pm during school terms. Both of them are very active and already in good routine, which is something we want to maintain.

You need to be someone positive, calm under pressure, well organised, able to balance fun and discipline with common sense. Ideally you need to have some experience with younger kids and checkable references is a must. You are expected to perfom all usual nanny duties including school drop off/pickups, organising playdates, cooking healthy meals, laundry for children etc and able to commit to at least one year working with us. You need to be either native English speaker or have advance level of English.

Working hours 5 days a week 7am-9am, 12pm-7pm. During term breaks you’ll be expected to work 7am-7pm. There are some baby sitting or working longer hours expected subject to mutual agreement. Our current nanny goes back home during the weekends, which would be a plus if you are able to as well.

In terms of accommodation, you wil have a double bedroom and use of shared bathroom.

Pay is net £260 per week. On top of it we’ll be paying your tax, NI etc and you’ll receive your payslip. And during term breaks where you need to work full time with advance notice your pay will be adjusted up to net £350 per week. If you are interested in helping us with some housekeeping duties during your free time there can be an extra pocket money for you. You will have 20 days paid holiday per year. Start date is early, mid May.

We’ve had great relationship with our current nanny who is unfortunately leaving us to move outside the UK. We are hoping to have similar relation with you and looking forward to hearing from you.
