St Paul’s School

Postby susyb » Sat Mar 02, 2019 5:31 pm

Hi we live in Clapham Common and our son has been offered a place at St Paul’s school. Wondered if anyone else has boys there who commute from Clapham Junction or Queenstown road to the school? Is the journey too much (too tiring/ busy) for a 13 year old? Possibly feeling too over protective but my son hasn’t travelled much on public transport on his own yet.
Thanks

My son is at the junior school. But what I’ve observed is the 11+ boys start coming by themselves on the tube, so I imagine all the senior school boys will do it on their own.

I would take it by the other end of the stick, call the school, ask them if they have anyone coming from Clapham, and if so, whether they can pass your details to the parents as you'd like their advice.

I would think, especially if it's the overground and without change, that at that age it's OK. Let us know!
