Wandsworth are consulting on changes to their ASD diagnosis pathway and advisory services for ASD children aged 0-19. Whilst there are some good points, the changes will result in a reduction in specialist staff and have the potential to affect the services for ASD children in schools.

If you have a child with diagnosed or suspected ASD or a social communication disorder please take the time to read the consultation and complete the survey. In addition, Wandsworth are holding a number of meetings at which parents can air their concerns and senTalk (sentalk.org) are holding an additional meeting on 4th April at 6pm at the Katherine Low Settlement.

The proposals are also of concern to the teaching union who have organised an event of their one on 21st March with Marsha de Cordova.
