11+ Skills Workshop at Dulwich College / Easter

Kickstart your 11+ campaign...

Award winning agency Mentor Education have been successfully preparing local children for their 11+ for over 35 years.This Easter we are repeating our popular 11+ Mastery Skills Workshop, designed to reflect the challenging content of the Independent School assessments. 

We recognise that high level 11+ experience is vital, and we recruit some of the best teachers in the business. This year our course is delivered by a current yr 6 teacher at a prominent London prep school. 

Who will benefit? Yr 5 students starting their 11+ campaign (& very capable Yr 4 pupils) looking to apply for Alleyns, DC, JAGS, Wimbledon High, KCS, Streatham Clapham & Emanuel.


Topics to be covered inc:

  • Maths Core Skills Mastery: number, algebra, fractions, shape, space, measure, data handling & common pitfalls. Accuracy, confidence & speed.
  • Problem Solving Mastery: ‘The Wheel of Strategies’ – the 8 most powerful tools to confidently tackle unfamiliar maths puzzles and problems.
  • Verbal, Non-verbal and Spatial reasoning: advanced pattern recognition, question types & associated strategies.
  • How to Present Your Best Self: Lateral thinking, current affairs, debating & visual analysis.
Date:                6th - 8th April (9.15 to 1pm)
Location:          Dulwich College, SE21 7LD 
Class size:       8-10 pupils


This course is always oversubscribed, therefore early booking is essential.
