Holy Ghost School

Postby bunny20 » Thu May 21, 2020 9:40 am

Hello!

Is there anyone here with children attending The Holy Ghost School in Balham?  I would really like to hear some feedback on the school (positive and negative) as we have been offered a place for our child?  Thank you!

Is it a genuine passion that your child's spends their school life in an setting where a natural love of God, prayer and understanding of the Catholic faith? If so then my understanding would be that this school also has a good reputation in other areas. I am not directly connected or in the immediate locale. But if prayer, the Mass and the teachings of the Catholic Church are not practised in your home and/or it is not a genuine priority for you to begin doing so please allow someone else's child to have the Catholic school place for whom school and home life will be in unity of purpose. Being fair and authentic is very important to and for children. Thankfully we are spoilt for choice on reputable schools locally.

This raises our spirit and makes us closer to God, and faith is one of the most important aspects in raising a child, so I believe that this school will help you a lot. And as for the school in Balkham, I heard that it is pretty good and you can easily attend it
Thank you for the attention:)

??? How does this help the OP?

Also:
Attending any religious school is praiseworthy regardless of whether the school is good or bad? What on Earth does this mean?

Faith is one of the most important aspects in raising a child? Says who? Oh, yes, some religious parents!

You have no information whatsoever on the school yet you basically implied it doesn't matter if the school is good or bad, sending your child to a religious school is always a good choice. You don't need to be Richard Dawkins to realise this doesn't make sense - I believe quite a few religious parents would find this rather nonsensical!
