Reviews on Thomas's Clapham

Postby Helpwithschools » Sat Sep 12, 2020 8:50 am

Hi,
We are looking to move our oldest child to a new school (his current school has been a bit of a disaster) and would love to hear some up to date views on Thomas's Clapham, particularly about what sort of child it suits. I've read old posts that say it is very competitive and suits Alpha types only - is this still true? Have anyone got any experience of their child joining in the later years? Are they supported as they settle in?

Thank you!

Both my children went all the way through Thomas’s. I think it’s a fantastic school and any negative comments you see on here are often from people whose kids didn’t go there. The current head has done a great job and the new head Nathan Boller was formerly a teacher there and is a great guy. It has a lot of bright children but unless your child really struggles academically they should be fine.
