Continuity of education during Covid webinar - Thursday 8 October

Postby adamdsouza » Fri Sep 25, 2020 7:45 pm

Following very positive feedback from parents about our webinar series on school transitions, I am hosting another episode about continuity of learning during Covid-19. For families whose children have entrance exams coming up, we will review the changes schools are making, and share tips on home-schooling in case your son or daughter's bubble gets sent home to self-isolate.

The webinar will include:
  • How the lockdown last academic year affected children – academically and emotionally: a teacher’s perspective
  • Useful dates for state and independent school transitions
  • How to maintain quality of education if your child’s ‘bubble’ is sent home
  • Resources for parents to keep your child’s learning on track
  • Changes to selective schools’ entrance procedures
I will be joined by Mel Ingle, a London education consultant.

The webinar will be broadcast live on Thursday 8 October at 1pm. The video will be available to signed up parents to download and re-watch at your convenience – so don’t worry if you can’t make that time.
