As our Yellowbird flights to the Alps have been cancelled, we will be running some exciting online workshops during the half-term break instead. We would love for your children to join us to keep the learning momentum going in yet another Covid impacted term.
FEBRUARY HALF-TERM ONLINE WORKSHOPS
Creative Writing Workshops- Years 2 to Year 6
Dates: 15-17 February (Monday to Wednesday)
Times: 9.30am-12pm
Materials: booklet to be posted or collected where possible, otherwise print at home
Max: 8 students per group, grouped by year group
Meeting Platform: ZOOM, you will be provided with a meeting code and password to join
Cost: £188 for 3 days, Monday to Wednesday
Theme: 'Snow holiday'! Over the three days we will work on one story, looking carefully at descriptive writing, setting, characters and language. We will spend time looking at what makes a story interesting and how to engage the reader.
8+ and 11+ English Exam Prep Workshops- current Years 2 and 5
Dates: 15-17 February (Monday to Wednesday)
Times: 9.30am-12.30pm

Max: 6 students per group, grouped by year group
Meeting Platform: ZOOM, you will be provided with a meeting code and password to join
Cost: £248 for 3 days, Monday to Wednesday
These workshops are excellent for getting a head start on the 8+ and 11+ exams. They include comprehension, grammar and descriptive writing.
St Paul's 8+ English Exam Prep- current Y3 students sitting Feb 2021 exam
Dates: 15-17 February (Monday to Wednesday)
Times: 9.30am-12.30pm

Max: 6 students per group
Meeting Platform: ZOOM, you will be provided with a meeting code and password to join
Cost: £248 for 3 days, Monday to Wednesday
This workshop is excellent prep to refine your child's knowledge for the upcoming St Paul's exam. It will include dictation, spelling, comprehension and grammar.
Magic Link Handwriting
Dates: 15-19 February (Monday to Friday)
Times: 9.30am-10.30am
Materials: Magic Link Workbooks to be collected from the office where possible or pages to print at home
Max: 4 students per group
Meeting Platform: ZOOM, you will be provided with a meeting code and password to join
Cost: £35 per lesson, plus £120 for the Magic Link Workbooks if you don’t already have them
These lesson will give your child a great start to their joined up writing, however, they will need to continue with further lessons to complete the programme. We have weekly lessons and more workshops in the Easter break.
Art Appreciation
Dates: 15-17 February (Monday to Wednesday)
Times: 3-4.30pm
Materials: Materials will be posted
Max: 8 students per group
Meeting Platform: ZOOM, you will be provided with a meeting code and password to join
Cost: £120 for 3 days, Monday to Wednesday
Through fun and engaging lessons your children will learn why art is so powerful at helping us to think, to feel and to wonder freely and deeply. Your children will learn to immerse themselves into the world of art history without reservations and self-doubt while connecting to the bigger picture of humanity. Children will produce a piece of art each lesson in relation to the artist.
