Why group learning works

Postby Jess from Mentor Education » Fri May 14, 2021 3:24 pm

Learning in small groups is a proven way to prepare for the 11+ and boost grades.

  • Collaborative, it creates a teaching environment where children can build on each other’s ideas, work together, and co-operate.
  • Dynamic, it breaks up the monotony of intense solo tuition.
  • Social, it is highly beneficial for children to learn in groups of like-minded students with the same goals. It gives children an opportunity to share ideas and make new friends.

Our 10 week courses are designed for Yr 4 and 5 students who are working towards entrance exams. Passionate, expert teachers deliver lessons which will help boost your child’s knowledge, exam technique and confidence.

Courses include:

  • 11+ Essential English
  • 11+ Maths Mastery
  • 11+ Reasoning Recall
  • 11+ Scholarship Sessions

One hour group sessions are taught after school Mon-Thurs in the Mentor classroom (Clapham South) with a maximum of 6 students.

Please get in touch with our 11+ co-ordinator Rachel to book a place.
