Wooden Flooring Needed

Postby erikap02 » Mon Mar 25, 2019 6:20 pm

Hi there,

I am looking for 100meter squared natural oak engineered wooden flooring, 14mm thickness, 150mm width for the house I am doing up. Does anyone know good deals, suppliers any advice? Anyone knows of a good sale and want to tell me about it? I am happy to buy it immediately.

Thank you in advance.

Hi
I renovated my house a few years ago and we used oak engineered flooring that was suitable for use with underfloor heating, sourced from a local company.Since then I have had problems with the flooring splitting and cracking and it just looks awful. My advice would be to stay clear of engineered wooden flooring and opt for ceramic/porcelain tiles instead -far more robust and not liable to split due to low humidity which apparently is very common in centrally heated homes!
