It's back to school! Here's hoping home learning isn't stopping you from doing all those jobs around the house you never get around to doing in normal times. And normal times these are not. #lockdown #living has its moments. We (Paint the Town Green
) are a local decorating company and eco-paint shop - our showroom is on Allfarthing Lane. We wanted to do our bit to help during isolation. Aware that many people at home are keen to tackle their own decorating, we are putting together a batch of online tutorials which answer common questions and problems people have when it comes to decorating.
All the videos can be found on our website
, our igtv (@paint_thetown_green) and our You Tube
Channel. We have had some super feedback. So please do watch and share if you have a decorating project planned. Lockdown's just been extended for another three weeks!
In the last tutorial (E6), we showed you how to prepare MDF shelves for painting. Never one to do half a job, we show you in this episode how to prime and paint them and what tools to use. Presented by Paint the Town Green founder, Phil Robinson who after two years of promising to get round to it, has finally found the time to finish his daughter's wardrobe shelves during this period of self-isolation. Watch to find out how to apply paint to shelf edges and surfaces and why you need to lie on the floor afterwards to critique your own work
Turn your isolation frustration into elation with a little successful diy decorating! Any questions, don't forget to email email@example.com
- we are only too happy to help. And don't forget to help Wandsworth and nearby South London stay at home, we are offering a free knock and drop delivery for all local paint orders. Stay at home. Stay safe. And dig out the roller instead. That wall is staring at you!
