Morning
Further to your post and the question of cost. Yes, those costs look reasonable, but as stated, there are several ways to costs projects; fixed fees, hourly rates or a mixture of the two. In terms of procurement, it is also worth considering that discounts are often secured by designers and quite often these can be shared with the client, so there are some savings to be made there which can offset some of the fees. We work on an (reasonable) hourly rate to estimate our fees based on a detailed and considered scope and like to give our clients a clear and upfront understanding of the fees involved. Not sure if you've found an interior designer yet, but if you're still looking we'd be very happy to meet to discuss fees and how we work and what we can offer. We're based in Clapham and regularly work in the area. Do take a look at our website and let us know if you'd like to chat further. Regards Debbie and Nicoline, Studio Ogee
